Biography
Zach pursued a career in law to humanize and tell the stories of those who feel the legal system is often complex and inaccessible. As an Aurora native, Zach is proud to work in the community that he grew up in. Before law school, Zach worked closely, as a legal assistant, with families in the realm of eviction defense and public benefits.
After graduating from law school, Zach began his career with the Colorado Office of the State Public Defender in Jefferson County. There, he gained valuable experience with motion advocacy and jury trials. Through in-court advocacy and negotiations, Zach strives to make his clients’ voices heard and reach a just resolution—putting clients’ goals and concerns at the forefront.

Zach understands the importance of having a compassionate advocate who is responsive to his client’s needs. Zach has worked with individuals coming from a wide range of backgrounds and ensures that he approaches every case with an approach unique to his client’s needs.
Paramount to his work, Zach prioritizes strategic advocacy that always puts his client’s goals and best interests at the forefront. With a wealth of in-court experience, Zach is adept at negotiation, but will never shy away from strong client-centered litigation.
Zach attended Regis University in Denver. He majored in Sociology and worked to bring community involvement into the classrooms on the Denver campus. Additionally, Zach had the opportunity to live and study in Brazil, participating in an intensive Portuguese language program.
After a brief break, working with eviction defense and public benefits attorneys, Zach attended the University of Colorado Law School. While at CU, Zach volunteered with the Korey Wise Innocence Project, competed in national mock trial competitions, and was a student attorney in the Criminal Defense Clinic.
Zach is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Sam Cary Bar Association.
