Biography
Yihao moved to Seattle after spending more than 14 years in the Midwest. After graduating from the University of Iowa College of Law, Yihao practiced family law, criminal defense, and immigration law in firms in both Iowa and Chicago, Illinois.
Yihao is also a first-generation immigrant and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Yihao’s diverse background and life experiences provide a unique perspective in dealing with family law cases.

Yihao believes in advocating for clients and tries his best to get what his clients want. However, Yihao knows it is equally important that the clients understand the reality of their cases and have reasonable expectations. Yihao is not afraid to tell the clients the truth that they need to hear, even when that may be something they do not want to hear.
Yihao is a strong believer in negotiation and settlement. After all, it saves everyone time and money if the cases can be resolved relatively quickly. However, when that is not an option, Yihao is not afraid to go into the courtroom and advocate on behalf of his clients.
Yihao attended the University of Iowa, where he graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, and Asian Language and Literature. After graduation, Yihao attended the University of Iowa College of Law and graduated with a J.D. in 2020.
