Biography
Donica Ramsey is a dedicated attorney with a passion for helping clients navigate challenging legal matters. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Donica grew up moving frequently as her father served in the U.S. Army. She earned her undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s University in San Antonio in 2018 before relocating to Seattle to attend Seattle University School of Law. She graduated with her J.D. in 2021.
While still in law school, Donica gained hands-on legal experience working as a Rule 9 Legal Intern for a solo practitioner in Port Angeles, Washington. After graduating, she continued in a full-time role at the firm and, upon passing the Washington State Bar in 2022, became an attorney focusing on Probate, Estate Planning, and Business Law. Recognizing a growing need for family law attorneys in the region, she expanded her practice in December 2022 to include family law. She quickly developed a reputation for her skill in handling family law matters and found deep fulfillment in guiding clients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Beyond her private practice, Donica has demonstrated her commitment to serving underrepresented communities. She contracted with a nonprofit to provide legal services to Native American tribal members who were survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, ensuring access to critical legal representation at a reduced rate.
Donica is known for her compassionate yet strategic approach to legal advocacy. She prioritizes understanding her clients’ needs, helping them navigate legal complexities, and fiercely advocating on their behalf when necessary.
