Biography
Jasmine Johnson is a new attorney located in the Denver, CO office. She is an Arlington, Texas (Dallas area) native who attended Trinity University before spending a brief time in Seattle, WA to attend Seattle University School of Law. She has a background in education, teaching English and Argument to middle schoolers for nearly 7 years. She has also previously worked in commercial litigation, and insurance defense, and spent a summer clerking for the Washington Court of Appeals.
This invaluable experience has enabled her to connect with families on an individual level, bringing personalized support and empathy to each of her clients. Jasmine is committed to providing a positive and encouraging experience for each of her clients during what is possibly the most challenging and stressful experience in their lifetime.
When not working Jasmine enjoys:
Jasmine begins each case considering the end goal. She approaches legal problems similarly to bouldering – solving a complicated puzzle by putting together the correct maneuvers to achieve the desired result. Open communication, trust, and a strategic mindset are hallmarks of Jasmine’s approach, as well as a constant consideration for the individual needs of the client.
Jasmine graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas with a degree in Communications in 2012 before spending a brief period working in public relations at AT&T corporate. She then transitioned into education, where she taught at both Title I schools and private institutions before finally fulfilling her dream of attending law school.
She attended Seattle University School of Law while teaching full-time and participated in the ABA Negotiation Competition, qualifying for regionals in Boulder, Colorado. It was then that she knew she wanted to begin her legal career in Colorado and proudly serve this legal community.
Jasmine is a proud member of the American Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, Sam Cary Bar Association, and the Colorado Women’s Bar Association. Each of these associations has provided invaluable community, education, and professional development to Jasmine’s legal career.
