Biography
Kris actively supports her clients with a strong foundation and understanding of family law. Kris enjoys continuing legal education classes, reviewing new case law, expanding her knowledge, and applying that information in everyday practice.
Kris has a knack for explaining complex legal issues in a way that is easy to understand. Clients should understand the status of their case and how to progress to the next phase in litigation.
When Kris is not working, she hangs out with her best friend and husband, Justin. They enjoy reading, cooking, watching dogs play at the dog park, doing yard work, watching movies, going to the theater, and playing video games.
What is Kris’ strategy is focused on equity and efficiency. She wants to help her clients get through the process with the least amount of frustration and to help the court manage their docket.
Kris’s approach to each case is to find the path of least resistance. Find the issues that you can work through, and iron out an agreement. After that, let’s see what issues are left, and figure out if we need court intervention to get us to the finish line.
Kris started her journey into the legal field in 2006 at a local firm as a file clerk and progressed to the role of paralegal. Kris has been afforded the opportunity to study family law under the tutelage of talented attorneys in El Paso County.
Kris is a newly minted LLP. She took the Oath of Office on June 20, 2024, and holds a limited license to practice law.
